Moving into the finals we have four designers instead of the customary three. Why? The indecision of judging by committee I suppose. Left to me there would have been no difficulty in giving one of these four the chop.

Let's review:

Oscar

A bit costumey but it works in his favour considering the challenge. The coat is spectacular: innovation, silhouette, construction. Talk about construction... impeccable as per usual.

Asha

Beautiful and well made. A bit on the safe side but with a few details to keep it from being boring. This is a bit of a departure from her usual form fitted look so this is a good addition to her body of work over the season.

Sam

A bit of a mess. I've seen designers make more striking and effective usage of multiple fabrics and prints in one look so I can see where he wanted to go but he didn't make it. Not a fan of the baggy look but I've seen it done to chic effect before so he failed on the silhouette front as well in my eyes. Also: not feeling that 'fraux.

Shan

Great use of fabrics. Here is an example of how you mix prints effectively. Love the shape and detail of the top. Love the versatility of the bottom.
